Dr. Catherine Bender is a professor and Endowed Oncology Chair at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and the Co-Leader of the Biobehavioral Cancer Control Program of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Bender conducts research on neurocognitive function in cancer. She examines accelerated aging in cancer and conducts randomized controlled trials to determine whether exercise improves neurocognitive function in patients with cancer.
