Linda graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1997 with a degree in business education. She taught all areas of business and computer software classes to students between middle school and college ages.
While pursuing her bachelor's degree, Linda had a variety of jobs that gave her a wide range of experiences. She did qualitative work on a research study, was a bank teller at S & T Bank, and helped to build clientele with a State Farm Agency.
Linda was a stay-at-home mom for 18 years before she began working at the University of Pittsburgh in March 2022. She has been married to her husband, Brian, since August 1999. Linda's proudest accomplishments are her three children: Max, Owen, and Ava. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, attending her children's activities, & traveling.
Linda has a desire to learn more about cancer because she has had many family members impacted by the disease. Linda is excited to be part of the STRONG Study team where she hopes her contribution will allow participants to become better self-advocates and have a better quality of life.
